I got an ereader for Christmas and I’m so excited! I didn’t get a Kindle even though that does seem to be the most popular of the ereaders. I’ve never been one to jump on the most popular option though. I like living on the outside fringes of society, so I got a Kobo.
I did tons of research before deciding which reader I wanted. I decided on the Kobo because I wanted to be able to read epub files from the library. I also liked the look of the Kobo better than other readers I looked at in stores. (Really, it was the quilted back that sold me. That’s a stupid reason to choose a reader though, so I don’t like openly admitting it.)
The Kobo is easy to navigate and comfortable to hold. It doesn’t play MP3’s like other readers, but that doesn’t bother me.
These days I’m doing a lot of reading on my reader. I can buy ebooks through sites like Smashwords.
I just wanted to share the news with all of you because I’m so happy to finally have my Kobo.
