NaNoWriMo kicked off today and people around the world have started a solid month of writing. I’m not participating this year because I already have a bunch of projects that I’m trying to complete. I’m recording The Box as a podcast, revising my latest novella, and I started writing a new novel several weeks ago.
I’ve never been big into NaNoWriMo. Though I’ve written a few novels none of them were written during the month of November. Actually, when it comes to NaNoWriMo I don’t think I’ve ever completed the challenge. Others find it extremely motivating though. If that is the type of thing you’re into, I think the event is a great way to get started writing.
I know so many people who say they want to write a book and this month would be the perfect time to do it. Writing everyday for thirty days is a great way to make a new habit. So are you participating in NaNoWriMo this year?
